Keep in mind that pouty lips, stuck out butts, and licking out tongues, are all advertisements for all kind of no good men/women with pedophilic tendencies.
We as parents have to do better at honing in on these subtleties that may seem harmless enough, but in all honesty, it is a reflection of how they feel about themselves. This type of attention should send up red flags to us as parents, and members of society. We have allowed so many things to invade our homes and our psyche that we fail to parent, or correct behavior.
Are our social media pages reflecting this same behavior? If not, where are they getting this from? Television, their peers, your boyfriend hitting on them? I don't know, do you? I could not imagine posting my butt on my page and my daughter and her friends "liking" it. We have to set the standard for our children. Our girls and boys are being set up for unhealthy relationships with their peers, and each other now and in the future. We have to respect ourselves and teach our sons to respect our daughters and vice versa.
Sex sells, but our girls aren't for sell, so raise the bar and get it together.
